Here’s another alluring leaf ready to join the group.

Vibrant reds and forest green against light green arabesques. Vivid veining, curvy contours.

I’ve made this rather large leaf from lightweight flocked upholstery fabric in pale green, backed with light green heavy cotton.

The veins are luminous red and green rayon embroidery threads, swirling and turning over the surface. Dark green thread marks the edges. And a long stem, sturdy but not rigid, made from thick upholstery fabric and hand embroidered, extends down.

A metal ring situated near the top of the stem and a picture hook (included) allows you to hang this leaf on your wall.

This large Caladium leaf is 14 inches long and 10 inches wide, and her stem is 26 inches long.  (36 x 25 cm + 66 cm for the stem.)

PLEASE NOTE: the stem is not rigid and will not support the weight of the leaf. It cannot be stood in a vase.
