Product Description:
This is the naturally furry White Satin moth (Leucoma salicis). Wings are made from upholstery fabric with a little sheen to it, backed with sturdy cotton, body is in fake fur, hand embroidered.
The male has feathery antennae while the female’s antennae are made from embroidery thread (see fourth photo). Brooch clasp on the underside.
Wingspan 4.5 in and 2 in high. (11 x 5 cm)
